The Missing Link
A broken nylon coupling saved a whole desk — redesigned and reprinted in polycarbonate.
A customer came to us with a common problem: a screw in his desk had failed, because of a small nylon coupling that was impossible to find anywhere. Too many people answer that by buying a new desk.
We helped redesign the part and printed it in polycarbonate — strong and durable. The result was a fully working desk with a sturdy, long-lasting replacement. Set against the material cost of a whole new desk, it is strange this isn’t the default.
