The Golden Manesh
A table-tennis challenge trophy for Neonomics — a gold-lacquered figure of a colleague mid-serve.
Neonomics runs an annual table-tennis tournament and needed a challenge trophy to carry the tradition. At the office there is a figure called Manesh, known for his rather extreme serving stance — he became the trophy: The Golden Manesh.
We already had a 3D scan of the figure, converted it for printing, and handled the whole production from print and assembly to gold lacquering — a distinctive, funny trophy that fits both the tournament and the culture at Neonomics.
