Mitt Spor GPS Tag
A robust, easy-to-use cover for the Mitt Spor dog GPS tag — over 5,000 made locally in Oslo.
Mitt Spor is a subscription service from DyreID and Telenor that tracks your dog live from your phone via a GPS collar tag. The original tag was too fragile and not intuitive enough to use. With Live Aamo and Sasha Milic we set out to make a cover that was simple to handle but tough enough to survive a 40-kilo dog crashing through the undergrowth.
A workshop set the goals; we prototyped three versions for internal testing, narrowed to one, refined it, and sent it out for field testing and a small webshop run to gather customer feedback. Then it launched. Production is local — so far more than 5,000 covers made here in Oslo.
