Thorn Crown

Undergrunn are one of Norway’s biggest rap groups, known for high-energy shows and a strong visual identity. For their concerts at Oslo Spektrum they wanted to push the stage design further, and came to us with an idea for a crown of thorns and custom belts with nameplates.

The crown was fitted to sit comfortably and stay put through a whole show. We also built a flexible chain belt with a metallic finish and a heavier gold belt with LED details. The pieces are printed in PLA and plant-based resin and made in Oslo. Undergrunn needed custom work at high quality on a tight deadline — and we have kept building stage pieces with them since.
