3D-printed characters and location models for an art project that blends music, geometry, philosophy and history.
The Molecular Ballet is an art project that pulls music, geometry, philosophy and history into one universe, with characters built from geometric shapes and symbolism.
We 3D-printed the characters so the performance could be set out as a miniature, and made models of the places they appear — among them the Arctic Cathedral, the Solar Observatory and a farm-like arena. Together the figures and scenes form a physical display of the whole world they have made.
