Visuelt Award 2025
A trophy for Norway's Visuelt Awards, pressed from recycled plastic waste with Norwegian Trash.
Every year Norway’s designers gather for Visueltprisen, the awards for the best in the field. When the organisers wanted to renew the trophy, they asked Norwegian Trash and Brokkr to explore how plastic waste could become a symbol of creativity and sustainability. The old trophy was clear acrylic; the new one is recycled plastic, melted and pressed together.
The material is honest. It doesn’t try to imitate virgin plastic — its texture, colour and history are all on show. The result is a trophy that carries both craft and change, and a reminder that good design can be circular.
