Mitt Spor (My Track) GPS Collar Tag

Mitt Spor is a subscription service from DyreID and Telenor that lets you track your dog live on your phone with a GPS collar. Mitt Spor had an issue with their GPS tags being too fragile and unintuitive for use. Together with Live Aamo and Sasha Milic, we set out to make a cover that was simple to use, yet robust enough that it could withstand 40 kilo dogs throwing themselves through the undergrowth.

With an initial workshop we helped define the goals of the updated design before we prototyped 3 different versions for internal testing. Then we narrowed it down to one candidate, which we refined and Mitt Spor sent it for testing. After some further iterations and a limited run in their webshop for customer feedback, we had everything we needed to launch a great product! Production happens locally of course, and so far we've produced over 5000 of these covers here in Oslo!
