Locally Produced Chocolate
Norsk Industri is an employers’ organization that aims to highlight Norwegian manufacturing. When they were preparing a Christmas gift for their employees, their wish was clear: they wanted something as local as possible, made with care and good craftsmanship.
We therefore developed an object that is both simple and beautiful — an egg-shaped container that can be opened, hung on the tree, and filled with chocolate. The chocolate comes from Heimdal Chokolade in Arendal, a small producer that shares our values of quality and local roots.
The result was a gift that reflects what Norsk Industri wants to stand for: locally made, well executed, and shaped in a way that ensures it can find its place in future Christmas traditions.
Christmas Decorations
Norsk Industri wanted Christmas decorations for their offices that could reflect who they are. Something that wasn’t just decor, but an extension of their identity.
We therefore developed a series of Christmas ornaments based on their logo. Instead of a traditional shape, we explored how we could play with and reinterpret the geometry of the logo. The result was an object that is both clearly recognizable and yet new.
The assembly itself has a tactile quality that makes it satisfying to put together, giving the user a small experience in addition to the design itself.
