Wersta Sustainability Award

The workshop chain wanted to strengthen its sustainability efforts and introduce a dedicated award to recognize the most forward-thinking people in the organization. They already had a tradition of handing out trophies, but wanted the sustainability award to be made from a material that genuinely reflected their values.

We took the existing trophy as a starting point and redesigned it to be better suited for 3D printing. We then produced it in recycled ocean plastic. The material comes from ropes from the Norwegian fishing industry that would otherwise have been discarded. This material is transformed into a plastic granulate that can be 3D-printed.

The result is a green and distinctive trophy that both looks good and carries a story that fits the award it represents.
