Marimetrics
Marimetrics works with ocean measurement and uses sensors that are deployed and left in place over time to register chemical conditions in the sea. To ensure the sensors stay in the correct location, they needed a custom buoy capable of carrying the equipment and withstanding demanding conditions.
We developed and 3D printed a large buoy measuring around seventy centimetres. It was designed to be robust enough to remain in the water through rough weather and keep the sensor in the right position throughout the entire measurement period.
The result was a functional and durable solution that provides Marimetrics with stable measurements under varying conditions.
