Hagle - Johnny Skinnvest

Haglaga released a song this summer featuring a character named Johnny Skinnvest. For this character, they wanted a full stage costume with a fully covering mask. The mask was supposed to be shaped like a marshmallow with beer caps as eyes, based on their own AI renderings.

We took the images as a starting point and developed the entire mask, including the eyes, in a shape that both looked right and fit comfortably on the head. It was constructed so that the performer could jump and dance with it without it moving too much. The mouth was made as a black frame covered in felt, allowing the artist to sing clearly even with the large head on.

The character was used throughout the entire summer tour, and Johnny Skinnvest became a regular feature on stage.
